Welcome to our web site. It is designed to provide up to date information to all our 11,000 members in the twenty two clubs that make up the Renfrewshire Golf Union.
It is also designed to let others know of the wide range of excellent courses available in the area with fast access to all our member clubs’ web sites so that they can get full details for potential visitors and for those interested in membership.
One of our key roles is the development of golf, especially for young golfers. Thanks to the facilities generously provided by Mearns Castle Golf Academy and the skills of our coaches there, we have been able to build up a strong Area team at all levels and our success in 2009 in capturing the Scottish Area Team Championship and the West of Scotland League Championships are examples of what can be achieved.
