Ferguson wins Order of Merit
Paisley’s Alexander Ferguson finished the 2017 season in great form to win the Renfrewshire Gents Order of Merit.
Alexander who was lagging behind going into the George Taylor Strokeplay at his home course, Paisley, produced an excellent display to win the event and move himself to the top of the leaderboard. Alex then consolidated his position by playing in the final events at Caldwell and Eastwood to win by 40 points from Bonnyton’s David Sibbald.
