Competitions:Following an Executive meeting held on the 29th of April, the RGU have decided that due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation, and the likelihood of competitions not being able to beplayed for a period of time after the lockdown is eased, that ALL domestic competitions due to be played in 2020 will now be cancelled.
This decision was not taken lightly, however the impact on clubs was at the forefront of this outcome and the disruption that trying to rearrange venues would cause. The clubs that were due to host this year’s events will be contacted separately with a view to the events being hosted at the same venue in 2021.
All entrants will be contacted separately regarding their entry in the various events.
For clarity this includes the Boys, Youths and Gents County Championships, the senior and Handicap Championships, the Club Team Championship and the Champions of Champions.
Per Capita Fees:The Executive having considered the Per Capita fee position have decided that there will be no Per Capita fee amount to be paid next season i.e. from this coming October for 2020/2021. This will allow clubs to adjust their annual fee requirement and hence allow you, their members, to benefit directly.
For now we hope everyone is following the guidelines and staying safe.
